LAILAPS is an information retrieval system for all kinds of biological data. It is used to search and extract relevant content from dozens of databases. Entries are ranked for relevance in consideration of the users individual preferences.
LAILAPS support the explorative IR by an integrative search engine in the genomics data domain. The final aim is to link genome positions, which are annotated to code for the traits of interest. This traits could be protein functions, pathways, morphological phenotypes, agronomical and medical properties etc.
